The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
Roads may be a bit slick again for the last day of 2025. We are getting reports of 1 to 2 inches out there from the Fox Valley to central Wisconsin, and an isolated 3.2 in report out of southern Winnebago county from yesterday’s clipper system.
More snow is expected to develop today, maybe a spot of icy drizzle, from the morning into the early afternoon. This time, we are expecting 1″ or less of new accumulation, just enough to add a small layer of snow to the roads and make it slick in a few spots.
Cold weather will follow this snow tonight for the New Year’s Eve celebrations! The ball drop temperature at midnight will be around 4 degrees, wind chills pushing -5 to -15 degrees. Feels like temperatures will go -10 to -20 degrees overnight into the first day of 2026!
